This is is my profile for Somalian rapper K'naan. K'naan released The Dusty Foot Philosopher in 2008 and Troubadour this summer, both of which have some pretty nice tracks on them, my favorite four are below. K'naan lived in Somalia during his childhood and lived there during the Somalian Civil War. He moved to Canada to a suburb of Toronto where he served time in prison, and lost many family and friends to violence and murder. Me and my friend Devin enjoy bumping his songs in Devin's shitty 2001 cherokee. He's mad good and what I like about him are all four of these songs are quite different, his music has a lot of variety.
