Lupe Fiasco - Words I Never Said Feat. Skylar Grey

 

Lupe with a new track, absolute fire. The hook is done by Skylar Grey, who has been getting a ton of attention as of late, doing hooks on Dr. Dre's "I Need a Doctor"  and  Diddy's "Coming Home". On top of this she also wrote for Eminem's super-hit "Love the Way You Lie" and T.I.'s "Castle Walls". Skylar Grey is undoubtedly rapidly rising to a well - deserved stardom. On the other hand, Lupe is a favorite artist of mine, but rarely releases singles like this. His album "Lasers" is expected to finally drop sometime this year and should be one of the best this year. On this song Lupe goes political, calling out Obama and Glenn Beck (who lives on my street) to name a few, as well as touching on 9/11.
